Jojo's Bizarre Adventure Part 6 Announcement

The day has finally come! The Stone Ocean anime has been confirmed! We’re so excited to see the Jojo anime finally continue, and equally as excited to work on it. As of today, I can confirm that Gyro, Lord Starfish, JulesMFinWinnfield, Toa of Gallifrey, and myself will be working on it.

However, our release process is going to change this time around. After discussing it amongst the staff, we decided that we are intentionally going to keep a two week buffer between when a new episode airs in Japan and when we ourselves release it. In the past, we always rushed to get each episode out as quickly as possible with the intention of polishing things up later, but our current circumstances no longer make this release strategy feasible. Most of us are either working full time or are in school full time, so having to rush to do our part on each episode after work or school is just too much for us. Instead, we’ll take our time and really polish the TV release to make it as good as possible. The other advantage of this is that it will allow us to release the eventual Part 6 blu-ray batch MUCH quicker. The Part 5 batch was stuck in limbo for a long time because of Covid and the amount of work still needed for it, but we’re back at it and plan to release it this year. Subbing Part 6 this way will avoid a situation like this in the future and give you all higher quality subs to enjoy from the beginning.
