  1. When the BDs are released in Japan (while the show is still airing) would you be able to release those with your subs?

    • One volume will be released every month starting this December. We don’t plan on doing individual volume releases though. We’ll release a blu-ray batch containing all 39 episodes a bit less than a year after it finishes airing on TV.

  2. Thank you thank you thank you for starting this series. I love your JoJo subs and I’m so happy to be able to enjoy Golden Wind as it was meant to be.

  3. Thank you for superior JoJo subs with the actual names unlike zipper man or mad diamond or deadly queen. Also for the subtitled openings and endings.

  4. Why is Giorno’s Muda “Pointless” instead of useless? Can the word be interpretted in different ways, and Giorno uses it the alternative way, differentiating him from Dio?

    • “Pointless” was my suggestion. I felt it worked better with what Giorno was actually saying, while still also matching how Dio uses it. I was aware that it was inconsistent with earlier series, but the way we’ve always approached this sort of thing is, consistency is fine and all, but it shouldn’t be used as an excuse to NOT improve things that could potentially be improved. Here’s how I put it while actually working on the episode:
      Dialogue: 0,0:11:54.98,0:11:56.52,Main,Giorno,0,0,0,,…is pointless.{“Pointless”? I know it was “Useless” when Dio said it, but given how Giorno uses it throughout the episode, “Pointless” makes more sense. And for the record I would be totally fine with changing Dio’s “Useless”es to “Pointless” in any potential re-release of Phantom Blood and Stardust Crusaders too, as I would say it’s just a generally better word for his both his mockery and Giorno’s “Don’t waste my time”-ness. -Starfish}
